Woking’s Vince Ayling appointed as county team coach for next two years

March 1, 2015 by admin

We are delighted to announce that Vince Ayling, head coach of Woking Swimming Club, will take up the county coach position for the next two years.

Vince will be responsible for leading the Surrey swimming team at the National County Team Championships in October 2015 and again in 2016.

He will form part of the selection panel that will select the team to represent Surrey at the ‘Inter Counties’.

Vince will work with some of Surrey’s top age group swimmers to build upon last year’s success.

Vince said: “I am very excited to lead the county team to this year’s National County Team Championships and furthermore I will be delighted to promote and represent Surrey throughout the two-year appointment.”

As head coach of Woking Vince is responsible for developing the strategy and leadership of all the club’s squads.

Since becoming head coach he has taken the club to new heights at county, regional and national levels.

In 2014 Woking made the B final of the National Arena League.
