font-size: 12pt;\">The ACM took place in the Regency Room at the Friends Life sports and social club, Dorking, on Tuesday 23rd June.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The meeting reviewed the accounts for the preceding year, which will be posted here when reviewed by our Independent Examiner, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/surreyswimming.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/Competition-Committee-report-23.6.2015.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Competition Committee annual report <\/a> (includes president, diving, masters, officials, age group swimming, water polo).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The following were elected executive officers for 2015-16:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022 Chair: Dr Jeni Colbourne MBE (Wey Valley Swimming Club)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022 Secretary: Mr Jim Boucher (Guildford Water Polo Club)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">\u2022 Treasurer: Mrs Joan Swain (Guildford City Swimming Club)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Paul Finch (Merton Swordfish Swimming Club) will serve a second year as President, and Carole Chaplin (Dorking Swimming Club) was installed as Vice President.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The President&#8217;s Plate was awarded to Julie Burvill (Woking Swimming Club).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The Meeting bestowed the award of Honorary Life Vice President to <a href=\"https:\/\/surreyswimming.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/Richard-Garfield.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Richard Garfield<\/a> (Guildford City Swimming Club) and <a href=\"https:\/\/surreyswimming.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dennis-Griffiths.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dennis Griffiths<\/a> (Cheam Marcuda Swimming Club).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
