8.30pm).<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/surreyyouthfocus.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-7963 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/surreyswimming.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/SurreyYouthFocus-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/surreyswimming.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/SurreyYouthFocus-1.jpg 225w, https:\/\/surreyswimming.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/SurreyYouthFocus-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/surreyswimming.org\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/SurreyYouthFocus-1-100x100.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>Welfare officers and designated safeguarding leads at clubs and bodies affiliated to Surrey County ASA are encouraged to sign up for free.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Anika Wilson, the charity&#8217;s project coordinator, said<\/span><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">: &#8220;The aim of this meeting is to provide local safeguarding information and key contacts to help supplement national policies with local priorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">&#8220;We work with children&#8217;s and youth charities, community groups and public sector agencies to improve the lives of young people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">&#8220;We also want to reach out to sports organisations and uniformed groups in Surrey.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif; font-size: 12pt;\">&#8220;Together with the Surrey Safeguarding Children Partnership (SSCP), we chair safeguarding meetings for charities to share key information and contacts from the SSCP.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;
