Masters Squad Coach<\/strong><\/span>
\nRedhill and Reigate Swimming Club are looking for a passionate and committed Masters Squad Coach. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join a community club, and support our swimmers to achieve their goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Established as long ago as 1887, Redhill and Reigate Swimming Club (RRSC) is a friendly and community focused club. Our aims are to provide training opportunities within the right environment that enables each swimmer in the club the chance to reach their full potential, at an aspirational level which is suitable to them. We serve our local community and provide all levels of swimming from age seven through to Masters. The club has approximately150 members and has recently seen a dramatic increase in requests for trials to join us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Masters swimmers train for fitness and competition. We consistently have Masters swimmers entering a number of galas across the South East and further afield as well as open water events.<\/span><\/p>\n

Training sessions take place on a Tuesday and Thursday evening at Horley Leisure Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n

This role is an opportunity for the right individual to make an impact and join a warm and supportive team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Person Specification <\/span><\/strong>
\nThe ideal candidate is someone who has enthusiasm and passion for coaching Masters swimmers. We will also support enthusiastic and committed Level 1 coaches who would like to work towards their Level 2 coaching award.<\/span><\/p>\n

As Masters squad coach you must be a team player and clearly show your love of coaching and swimming. Most importantly, the Masters Coach must be driven and knowledgeable, whilst possessing the ability to communicate effectively with swimmers, other coaches and the committee.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Masters Coach should be knowledgeable in competitive swimming and be driven to achieve results for swimmers of all abilities with a particular focus on increasing the skills and techniques of the club\u2019s swimmers, enabling more swimmers to reach their full potential. Inclusion is an integral part of our community and ethos, coaches must have the ability to inspire swimmers at all levels.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Requirements<\/span><\/strong>
\n\u2022 Swim England Level 2 Coach Award (or Level 1 with the ambition to work towards Level 2).<\/span>
\n\u2022 UK Driving licence.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).<\/span><\/p>\n

Main Responsibilities<\/span><\/strong>
\n\u2022 Lead on coaching a Masters squad.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Deliver effective session plans appropriate for different abilities and skill levels.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Have the ability to inspire, motivate, develop, and swimmers.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to swimmers.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Motivate and encourage swimmers to reach their full potential.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Maintain a safe and positive learning environment, adhering to all pool safety and safeguarding regulations and the Club\u2019s code of conduct.<\/span>
\n\u2022 To be able to be in communication with swimmers, coaches and committee in a professional manner and ensure all communication is carried out in a timely fashion. <\/span>
\n\u2022 Promote a positive and engaging experience, creating a fun and enjoyable environment that encourages swimmers to stay motivated and committed to their training goals<\/span><\/p>\n
